Amy Belmore, President of Evergreen East, has been in the event planning and management business for over 20 years. She started her career at Conventures, Inc., one of Boston’s largest and best known special event firms. During her 7+ years with Conventures, Amy learned the value of teamwork, collaboration, and precise attention to detail. Select highlights in her portfolio there include serving as Race Director for the Tufts Health Plan 10K for Women, the Chase Corporate Challenge and the MMRF 5k Series; Event Manager for the Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl and the Red Auerbach Youth Foundation Parquet Challenge, and Show Manager for the John Hancock Sports & Fitness Expo in conjunction with Boston Marathon weekend. In addition, she was the Director of Land Operations for Sail Boston 2000, an expansive role in coordinating logistics for a tourism event that drew 7 million visitors to Boston over a week of festivities featuring an international fleet of Tall Ships.

140Amy furthered her career in event management and added a layer of donor cultivation with her next 12 years in the field of higher education. She spent 4 years at the Boston College Alumni Association, followed by 8 years in Alumni Relations (Advancement Division) at Northeastern University. Under this umbrella, she managed reunions, awards ceremonies, Boston Pops concerts, a performing arts series, networking events, road races and more.

Since 2009, she has been active in political campaign management – work that has led over recent years to developing and producing several educational programs on substance abuse to help combat the current opiate epidemic facing Massachusetts.

008In 2014, Amy formed Evergreen East Unlimited, Inc., with a goal of providing businesses and organizations with high-quality, experienced, and detail-oriented event management, project management, and marketing services. One of her ongoing clients is Heidrea for Heroes in Plymouth MA, a 501c3 veterans’ services non-profit, where she serves as Project Manager & Director of Development.

Amy graduated from the University of Vermont and lives in Kingston, MA with her husband, two children, and their lovable yellow lab. During her downtime, she enjoys running, traveling, volunteer coaching for her kids’ sports teams, and playing with that lovable yellow lab.
